Chael is currently pursuing a B.A. at Arizona State University in her passion for Creative Writing. Chael is also an honors student enrolled in Barrett, the Honors College. In addition, she is the President for the student organization, BICA(Barrett Indigenous Culture Association), and a student fellow of the inaugural Native Narratives program at ASU.

Chael is an aspiring writer and poet whose work celebrates and reflects on her family histories, her identity as a contemporary Diné womxn, and uses storytelling as a means to inspire, heal, and challenge inaccurate narratives of Indigenous peoples. She hopes to uplift and amplify the voices in the communities that raised her and add more positive Indigenous representation within the literary world.
