Influences and conditions for community healing, health, and well-being
Our Stories, Our Journey was a community initiative to hear stories from how our communities experience and practice wellness. These images represent shared and unique Indigenous social determinants that impact the health and well-being of individuals, families, communities, and Native Nations. How do we describe ISDoH? Through stories and shared experiences that reflect aspirations, hope, lessons, and teachings passed down since long before public health practice. These are examples of how Indigenous communities and Native nations can create their own frameworks to use in their health programming and services.
