The intersection of social and Indigenous determinants of health for health system strengthening: a scoping review

This project was funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), as part of a financial assistance award to the National Network of Public Health Institutes totaling $100,000 CDC/HHS [award No. 6 NU38OT000303-05-03; NOFO OT18-1802, titled Strengthening Public Health Systems and Services through National Partnerships to Improve and Protect the Nation’s Health], and culminated in a scoping review of the current literature on social determinants of health (SDOH) impacting Indigenous peoples, villages, and communities in the US and circumpolar region.
